Dr. Cohen discusses the statistics behind cancer in older patients as well as the best approach to take, as the diagnosis and management of cancer differs for patients over the age of 65. A prime example of that can be seen in a recent blog post from GeriPal. Sometimes cancer screening may not be the best option for your patient. For helpful tips on providing proper care for your elderly cancer patients, remember to consultĀ Clinical Geriatrics.
